Ellie Mills – aka Ellietype – is a Glasgow-based lettering and textile artist.  

She combines traditional signwriting techniques, retro typography, traditional quilt making and her own experimentation with high-saturation colour schemes to create eye-catching pieces. She specialises in designing & painting lettering for all types of projects from public art projects to commercial shopfronts; using gold leaf, enamel, spraypaint & more. Her Textiles are all zero-waste recycled cotton and linen pieces that she puts together by hand from carefully selected colour palettes to create bright and playful one off fabrics.
